Praying God's Word is not meant to be a ritual, but to help us to know the will of God and His promises. As we send forth God's Word in prayer it will not return void in our lives.  God is faithful to watch over His Word to perform it.  In praying the scriptures, not only are you praying the will of God, but developing and increasing your faith as you speak the Word of God. Romans 10:17 says, "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God."
